Air Racing World Series Comes To U.S.
The Red Bull Air Race World Series makes its penultimate stop in San Francisco, USA on Saturday October 7. Pilots will race over the water, through a specially designed course situated in the Bay, between Marina Green and Aquatic Park, just a few hundred feet from the shore. Currently leading with 28 points is American Kirby Chambliss.

The life span of most commercial airplanes is said to be around 30 years; and so, just as there was a 1970s explosion in aircraft production. What's to be done with them? Aircraft contain toxic materials, so dumping them at a far-off airfield or throwing them in the sea is clearly unacceptable.
